Bonding (also called composite bonding) is a durable, tooth-colored composite resin. Dr. Weinman may use it to fill a cavity, cover broken, sensitive, or open areas on a tooth, or mask a wide variety of imperfections, such as discoloration or irregular shape. In some situations, Dr. Weinman may discuss bonding as an alternative to certain treatments, such as porcelain veneers. Once the bonding is applied, Dr. Weinman will polish the resin until it matches your surrounding teeth.
